  大家好！这里是广西师大附外国际部，坐标广西桂林。我是你们的新朋友廖佩语、杜文豫。下面，为大家播报国际部上周要闻。

1) From August 17th to the 26th, FLS and the Guilin Armed Forces jointly conducted ten days of military exercise. Despite the heat, the International Department’s freshmen students actively took part in military activities and were awarded “Excellent Unit.”

  8月17日至26日，广西师范大学附属外国语学校与桂林市武装部队联合举行为期10天的军事训练，国际部2018级全体学生，不畏酷暑，积极参加军训活动，并在军训会操当天被评为“优秀班集体”。

2) On the morning of September the 4th, the international department held the “2018 – 2019 autumn semester commencement ceremony.” This year, six brilliant students were awarded scholarships:

Diana was awarded 15,000 yuan.

Jason, Stella, and Jack were awarded 10,000 yuan.

Michelle and Gerrard were awarded 5,000 yuan.

  9月4日上午，国际部在报告厅举行“2018-2019年秋季学期开学典礼”仪式。本年度，共有6位优秀的学子荣获“英才国际教育奖学金”。他们是：

  毛海璐荣获特等奖学金15000元

  钟承甫、唐伊琳和陈理达荣获一等奖学金10000元 

  陈梓晗和桂琛皓荣获二等奖学金5000元。

3) On the afternoon of September the 5th, the first Chinese Studies class was held in the lecture hall. We were honored to have Mr. Chen as our teacher. The class further enhanced students’ education on traditional Chinese culture.

  9月5日下午，第一堂国学课在报告厅进行，本学期，国际部特别邀请中华吟诵学会会员、广西作家协会会员、广西师范大学国学中心副主任、桂林市国学研究会副秘书长陈广林老师为国际部高一、高二、高三年级讲授国学课程，进一步加强对学生的优秀传统文化教育。

4) On the afternoon of September the 7th, the International Department held the 10th grade parent meeting. Vice Principal Jiang Longfei delivered a speech, and International Department’s Stone and Rebecca introduced in detail the blueprint for International Department’s future development. Meanwhile, the Grade 10 homeroom teacher Michael described class management and Frank described students’ plans for the next three years.

  9月7日下午，国际部在本班教室举行“2018年高一年级家长会”。蒋龙飞副校长发表了重要讲话，国际部主任石宏老师和项目主任邹芳老师在会上向家长们详细阐述了国际部的发展蓝图，同时，班主任、升学指导老师等针对班级管理和学生个人的三年成长规划作了详细说明。

5) In the first week of the new semester, to help with students’ college application, Frank continued to consult our 12th graders and has officially begun the one-on-one counselling process for our 11th and 12th graders.

  开学第一周，为成功助力大学申请，升学指导老师陆续与高三年级学生面谈，针对高三年级和高二年级学生进行“一对一”升学指导工作已经正式展开。

2) Thursday afternoon, Senior 1, 50m relay.

3) Thursday evening, orientation for USAD, TEN80, and NEC (a national economics competition).

4) Friday, USAD level assessment test.

3. 9月13日晚，USAD全美经济十项全能赛，TEN80美国STEM大联盟杯挑战赛(National STEM League) ，NEC全美经济学挑战赛等国际竞赛说明会。

4. 9月14日，USAD全美经济十项全能赛水平测试。
